Stoke Hill, located to the north of Exeter in Devon is a sizable hill that holds historical significance. Notably, it was the location of an Iron Age hill fort and a subsequent Roman signal station. The hill fort is situated just below and to the northeast of the signal station, providing an advantageous viewpoint to observe multiple hill forts at once. The hill rises to a height of about 145 meters (476 ft) above sea level, while the signal station sits atop its highest point, reaching an elevation of 159 meters (522 ft) above sea level.
