Pathfinder Village is a small village located in Exeter, Devon. It is situated to the south of the A30 road, and it is part of the civil parish of Tedburn St. Mary. The village is primarily a residential area, with a mix of old and new houses.

Pathfinder Village was originally built as an American military hospital during World War II. After the war, the site was sold to the British government and was used as a rehabilitation center for disabled soldiers. In the 1980s, the site was sold to a private developer who transformed it into a residential community for people with disabilities.

Today, Pathfinder Village is a community designed specifically for people with disabilities. The village offers a range of housing options, including apartments and bungalows, and it has a variety of facilities such as a community center, a swimming pool, a gym, a shop, and a post office. The village also has a team of support workers who are available to provide assistance to residents with daily tasks.

Pathfinder Village has received national recognition for its innovative approach to providing housing and support for people with disabilities. It has won several awards, including the National Housing Federation’s “Best New Affordable Housing Scheme” award in 2008.
